Dr. Metz and his team are absolutely wonderful! They are a truly great team who deeply care about their patients. They go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of, making sure everyone feels reassured throughout their visit. The entire team is super nice, and the atmosphere in the office is incredibly calming—a huge plus! They work quickly and efficiently, but they always make sure the job is done right. Dr. Metz has many, many years of experience in dentistry. So you know your in good hands. If you live near Lancaster, they also have a convenient location there! If you are in need of a periodontist in that area, Dr. Metz is definitely the professional to see!

The staff was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Metz took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment options, ensuring I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. The procedure itself was virtually painless. I highly recommend Dr. Metz to anyone in need of periodontal care.

My husband came with me to my appointment because I have some dental phobia issues. Dr. Metz and the staff were so gentle, kind and patient with giving us all the information we needed to make good decisions for the long-term health of my teeth and my pocketbook! Wish I could give 10 stars!

I appreciated the level of care from the doctor and the staff. For a fairly invasive procedure, it went very well and throughout the procedure their was much concern directed toward my comfort. Staff have been diligent in following up to make sure recovery is going well. I will have the same procedure done on the other side of my mouth soon and will have little trepidation now having experienced the first one and the good care I have received.

I had been procrastinating on some dental procedures due to a prior experience from a different office. The surgery was successful but a bit painful. I was anxious When I finally decided to finish the needed procedures earlier this year. However,I noticed the same diagnostic procedure was done more gently with Dr. Metz. He was very patient answering my questions. The actual surgery went well. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the whole procedure went and the low level of the discomfort during and after the procedure. Fast recovery too. Thanks to Dr Metz and his friendly staff now I am actually looking forward to finishing the other side and get them all done. No more procrastination.

Dr Metz is a gentle, and over all good dentist, he’s good at explaining things. It’s his assistant that’s the problem, she is extremely rude. And does not do her job well. I see I’m not the only one in these reviews that think this. I cancelled my last appointment because my anxiety was so high of going back and getting my teeth cleaned by her. She needs to check her attitude and lack of empathy, Or find a different profession.

Had a root planing procedure done 1/2/24. My hygienist was the best, barely felt the novocaine shots. She did a wonderful job. I forget her name but I remember she lives in Lancaster. Dr. Metz is the best, he has helped me so much over the years. His office staff is so kind. Thanks to everyone there!

I was referred to Dr. Metz from my dentist Dr. Robert Lowe (also a great doctor, BTW). I had perio work done which included some gum tissue removal and cleaning up infection. Dr. Metz and his entire staff were professional, pleasant to work with and, I felt, really knew what they were doing. I would recommend Dr. Metz and his team of capable assistants, hygienists and managers whole heartedly and without hesitation. Also, Dr. Metz appears to take a very personal interest, which is rare these days. I like him a lot. I have been a patient for about 2 years now, and their C-19 protocols were thorough and sensible.
